Master of Arts Degree in Marital Family Therapy from the University of San Diego, 2013
Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Studies & Human Development from the University of Arizona, 2006


Jen has completed most of her clinical training at UCSD’s Department of Reproductive Medicine working alongside physicians, midwives, and psychiatrists to provide a unique collaboration on the screening and treatment of perinatal mood disorders affecting women and their partners during pregnancy and the postpartum period. She also has experience supporting youth and their families while working for the Coronado SAFE Foundation.

Jen has an integrated and holistic approach in working with individuals and couples doing short-term and long-term therapy. She has a special knowledge in the areas of maternal mental health, attachment bonding, birth trauma/loss, infertility struggles, and growing into parenthood while preserving your marriage.

Her practice is influenced by current research and training in: Gottman Couples Therapy, Gottman’s “Bringing Baby Home,” Emotionally-Focused Couples & Family Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, attachment-based models and mindfulness, among other theories and modalities.
